Break the connection
A conductive loop detects the break and wakes the electronics.
A discreet safety band. A signal for help.
A community that knows when to respond.

When reaching for a phone isn’t an option, a deliberate break in the band could start a request for help.
A conductive loop detects the break and wakes the electronics.
The band attempts an alert through a configured LoRaWAN gateway, with phone fallback where available.
An authorised responder reviews the alert, confirms receipt and coordinates the next action.
Response depends on coverage, battery and available people. This prototype does not dispatch police or guarantee rescue.
Try the response flow
Jewellery in its expression. A request for help in its purpose. We’re exploring a soft braided cord and discreet capsules that hold the electronics and battery.
Explore a fictional village pilot. Find an incident, understand its location and take it through a response.

Technology can start the conversation. People, training and accountable local partnerships have to carry it forward.
Access should be limited to authorised responders. A public website should never become a public feed of someone’s location.
A discarded band can only locate itself. Every alert must say where its location came from and how old it is.
The next step is a supervised pilot with women and local partners, testing comfort, coverage and response in practice.
Not yet. This is a product and software proof of concept. The bracelet imagery is a design exploration, and the dashboard contains fictional data.
The intended LoRaWAN connection can send data without a nearby phone, but only through a compatible, configured gateway with working backhaul. Coverage must be measured for every deployment.
Location from the band will follow the band, not necessarily the wearer. The response workspace shows this uncertainty explicitly. A connected phone could provide a separate location source if available and permitted.
No. Actions in this demo only update your browser. Real notification delivery, identity verification and formal response agreements must be implemented and tested before a live pilot.

Meet the HathRS band. Designed around everyday life.

The electronics capsule houses the proposed sensing, LoRaWAN, Bluetooth and location functions.
A black woven band designed to send a request for help when its sensing loop is pulled open or broken.
Concept preview only. No payment or order is taken.
Battery life, water resistance, fit, location accuracy and radio coverage need prototype testing. Final pricing and network service costs are not confirmed.
